It took the leadership of the system and the economic engine of the system being destroyed simultaneously by unrelated events to end feudalism.I’m just saying that a poor understanding of the long-term effects of inbreeding mixed with half the population being obliterated by the Bubonic Plague saved Europe from Feudalism, and I don’t think the world will get that lucky again.

I also think that if there were no negative consequences to inbreeding, or that if the plague didn’t happen, we’d be having this conversation in a field somewhere instead of over the internet, which would likely not exist, and we’d probably both effectively be peasants who are the property of someone with the surname Hapsburg.

That tyranny lasted for centuries until it was wiped out by forces beyond human control. I wonder how long this one will last?
Regular feudalism was stopped by a mixture of the plague killing half of Europe, spiking the value of labor, and the ruling class becoming so inbred they could no longer function.

I just want aspiring plebians to do something else with their lives until so many of them make this choice that the system either collapses or reforms.

I don’t know what it will take to stop neo-feudalism. It took forever for the original one to collapse and that one was nowhere near as powerful or resilient as neo-feudalism is."

But wasn't the biggest bubonic plague outbreak like 200-300 years before the end of feudalism?

That doesn't really seem like a good explanation.

Feudalism never ended, the monarchs and nobility just went under ground.
People who don't have addresses are immune to rebellion.
The rich and leaders of organizations and "nations" are their hands.
It's all nepotism, they just pretend they got there through skill or the choice of the public.

Neo feudalism is the old rulers tightening the chains on the peasants once again.

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

Mostly agree with this, but not this:
>Feudalism never ended
