Feudalism never ended, the monarchs and nobility just went under ground.
People who don't have addresses are immune to rebellion.
The rich and leaders of organizations and "nations" are their hands.
It's all nepotism, they just pretend they got there through skill or the choice of the public.
Neo feudalism is the old rulers tightening the chains on the peasants once again.
“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
