I don't recommend attending demonstrations for meeting girls, but you should attend demonstrations. The girls are hot, many are alt, but the solidarity is hotter. The feeling of being part of something bigger, unified in a meaningful goal is sexier than anything else. Talk to girls there if you would like to after you've attended a couple demonstrations.
Also, a really important thing to do is acquaint yerself with the coy ways girls flirt. If a girl asks your schedule, stares at you and smiles, really seems interested in keeping a conversation going with you or getting to know you, casually lets slip that she's single and looking, etc. those are signs she's interested in you. Some people will think it's stupid I'm saying this, but I genuinely was so dumb for a long time that I just didn't read into it when this kind of thing happened. I know that a lot of people on this board are the kind of folks who will not pick up on these cues and might genuinely not even notice them when they encounter them IRL, it's very important.
Also, shower. Exercise regularly. Walking is good, try to walk often.These aren't prerequisite conditions for doing well with women (except showering, that's a prerequisite), but you should do them anyway and you'll also be more confident because of it the more you do stuff like this.
