It's one of the most beautifully executed and self-indulgent games I've ever played. I use the word self indulgence in the best sense possible. For normal people, this is your run of the mill open world action game. But for anyone who at the very least thinks Japanese aesthetics, ninjas, samurai, etc are cool, even those that aren't even weebs, this game is like a dream come true. It puts you back to the feeling of playing with action figures as a child, except this time it's back in the form of a outrageously beautiful AAA multimillion dollar budget game. This is one of the perfect textbook games that show what happens when a game doesn't innovate, but instead does things that were already done in the most developed, beautiful and cool-oozing way possible. If you're a guy like me who enjoys over the top childish coolness, this game is endless fun.
It's a shame it doesn't get talked about as much here due to it's sorta bland story and tame mechanics (the combat is great though.) I'd rather leftypol discuss this game than Cyberpunk 2077 or TLOU II.
