the reason you say manga are better than anime is because they can hit you with a powerful sensory-emotional overload, and anime don't do that, they are traditional media in the relation to the audience. It's bad for your health and intellect. You become easily addicted and it's also a more solipsistic activity that also can lead to the development of an ill fetishist relation to the physical book object.
