Roads and civilization existed back when the norm was feudalism lol idk why she thinks this. Patriarchy also didn't always exist, it's only about 11k years old. Civilization most likely started off egalitarian, and men got greedy and hoarded power. That's the most realistic theory scholars have. And by actual definition, every nation is patriarchal. You're crying the "as bad as" fallacy. You can't just go around making your own definitions when you feel like it. It also means a culture based off the virtues and values of men, where feminine ones are shunned. Last I checked, sports, competition, aggression, programming and beer were the national pastimes and values instead of makeup, cooperation, herbalism, empathy and wine. The patriarchal Christianity is the dominant religion, not Wicca. Y'all still tell women they have no hobbies for fuck sake, and gay men are killed because femininity is hated. Women are bullied out of male dominated fields, men are not bullied out of female dominated ones. Male dominated fields always pay better. Nursing used to be a male job. So was cheerleading. Respect for it vanished when women took over. That doesn't happen in reverse.
Men are referred to as the default in all aspects of life, and women die of heart attacks and disease because of it. Houses are built to the man's height, crash test dummies and cars are built around men, which is why women are more likely to die in accidents. All research shows men are treated better in medicine, quicker to be diagnosed and given better treatment. You're even less likely to die of a surgeons malpractice because people take men's health seriously. Medical misogyny exists, the reverse does not. Male flight exists, female flight does not. And so on and so on.
This shit is ALL about men. It's patriarchal. Even our countries religion.
